Rubber bottom cap for DCB10?

I finally got my complete set of EDGE LAB A today.

I'm happy with my
KFL10R Knife Fulcrum, SLCF20  Slice Test Fixture with strong magnet
ATF10G Test Fixture with quite stable rubber bottom
CNC10 SLICE GLIDE, SLCP10 Slice Plate are even more tighter with screws

But, DCB10 Test Clip Base has slippy untreated bottom.
I'm pretty sure even with bare bottom of DCB10 Test Clip Base do not influence accuracy of the BESS test, but why not add more stability?

Always the more, stable the merrier.



p.s. I just realised I forgot about add EdgeOnUp ATF10C Test Fixture   Wacky

We considered adding some sort of grip pad to the DCB10 - then decided against it for numerous reasons. Perhaps we leaned the wrong direction on this one.

Then how about magnet loaded version?

BTW, Can you tell me that numerous reasons? just personal curiosity.

While EOU is very responsive to and appreciates user feedback, any change in product design is going to take some time. 

Here are a couple of suggestions on how you could solve the issue yourself quickly and easily.

1.  Get some grip tape and stick it to the bottom of the DCB10.  This one is just a suggestion.  There are lots of different grip tapes available.  Just be aware that some tapes are more to prevent slipping from your fingers but will still slide on surfaces.  Sand paper would be an example.  Very grippy to fingers but will still slide on a surface.  Other tapes resist surface sliding.  I have some of the below linked to product.  Available in strips or rolls.  Here it is stuck to the bottom of my phone.  As you can see, it is very resistant to sliding on surfaces.

2.   Get a neodymium disc magnet.  Drill a small recess in the bottom of the DCB10 and Super Glue the magnet in.  Something like one of the these.  0.125" thick, 2.25 - 6.5 lb pull available.
