Hey Folks,
I don't have much to add to the conversation. I just purchased an EdgeOnUp PT50B. I am hoping to use it to "train" me on my Tormek and hand stone sharpening. I sharpen chisels (mostly high end Japanese chisels) and both western and Japanese plane blades. As you may know, Japanese plane blades present a unique challenge to sharpen, and frankly to use. I haven't really got there yet. I do have a good set of Lee Nielsen and Lee Valley planes and I am looking forward to testing my sharpening efficacy with the PT50B.
