Well, I sleep with mine so I know it's safe.
Figure out what size you want and search around for padded cases, zipper bag/pouch, etc. Tool cases, camera cases, gun cases... There are a ton of them out there. I'm sure you will be able to find the perfect case or bag. It may just take a bit of searching. Even a paper bag would work just to keep dust out or wrap it in a towel. I wouldn't use a sealed plastic bag as moisture might be a problem.
Home Depot, Lowes, Menards and the like have stuff like that too.
