RE: Restaurant commercial knives - grepper - 03-31-2017 Is Supergrit just calling this a Deer? DEER JS 997 Blue Ceramic J-Flex Cloth Belts? http://www.supergrit.com/products/products_belts-ceramic I need to order from them anyway so I may throw one in. Do you find the J weight too flexible? Thanks for mentioning it. RE: Restaurant commercial knives - pjwoolw - 03-31-2017 The 150 is a good belt too. I let the tool do the work with light pressure. In most cases the flexibility of the belt doesn't make much difference. I like the homespun way you include a lot of solid sharpening information. After enjoying this video, I watched several of your videos. Your inclusion of the damage from dishwashers is a definite cautionary tale. My quiet personal time is very early in the morning, before my wife and grandchildren awake. I look forward to mornings enjoying your videos with some java. Thanks for sharing. Ken (03-29-2017, 07:22 AM)Jan Wrote: Thomas, Jan, Your sabre story is fascinating. You have rediscovered the very effective Roman short sword! Too bad that the authorities found it necessary to break the sword. In our age of very lethal weapons, a sword hardly seems a major threat.
